Brother's and sister's names: Brace yourselves here – I am from a litter of 14 pups!!! We were all brindle, so I have just put an ‘f’ or ‘m’ after each name to denote the sex of each dog. Allen Claire (f), Allen Gift (m), Allen Lark (m), Allen Town (m), Cloncurry Flyer (m), Erins Sunset (f), Pennys Deal (f), Pennys Dream - raced as Jukebox Gypsy in the UK (f), Pennys Mill (m), Pennys On Line (f), Pennys Special (f), Pennys Wren (m), Run The Line (f).
Tracks I raced at: Lots – Sittingbourne, Rye House, Catford, Shelbourne Park, Poole, Romford and Reading.
Age at retirement: 4 years and 6 months
Age when I came to live at my current home: One week shy of my seventh birthday
General likes: Food, all toys, scratching my bed into a big pile, cuddles with Mum, running, digging holes, stealing fruit (particularly bananas) from the fruit bowl, going for walks, having my nails done with the Dremmel, and riding in the car.
General dislikes: The tumble drier, men, people on bicycles, snow, wearing a coat, thunderstorms and fireworks.
Favourite food: Anything! So far Mum hasn’t yet found a food I don’t like.
Favourite treat: Bananas
Favourite walk: The woods in Horgen. We always meet lots of other dogs, and I can go and run through the trees and pretend to be hunting. There are also lots of streams to paddle in when it is hot.
Favourite other dog: My brother Mouse. He likes to play with me, and we run around the garden barking and biting each other (but it is only pretend).
Favourite toy: My screaming monkey from America.
Things that I'm most frightened of: Thunder storms and men, but when I first came here I was terrified of everything (Mum could barely get me into the house for the first few days) so that is a pretty short list now considering how scared I used to be.
My ideal day: We would get up late (around 10ish) and I would spend some time sniffing round the garden in the sunshine. This would be followed by a huge breakfast and a snooze outside on the lawn.; After that we would go for a long drive in the car and a walk at the woods. Once we got home I would have a snack and then spend some time digging holes and sleeping. Dinner would be early (and big), and Mum wouldn’t make me go outside for a last wee before she went to bed.
