Links To Other WebsitesThese are some of my favourite greyhound-related sites. Many of the online retail sites are based in the UK, and those that aren't will ship to the UK (and usually Europe) if required. In most cases I have used the ones that offer goods for sale, and they are listed here because I have found their service and products to be of the highest quality. If there is a particular site that you would like to see here, please e-mail me the details. Please note that these links will open in a new window, but if you don't close it, they will all open in the same one.
Shopping (for you)Candle Luminaries sells rainbow bridge themed memorial candle burners, which can be personalised. They have a wide variety of dog breeds available (including greyhounds). Feathered Gems Jewellery has some lovely and totally unique Greyhound jewellery. Items can be individually designed and made to order, and these can be shipped world-wide. I have several pieces of jewellery from Kathy, and you can see pictures of them by clicking here. Free Greyhound supports greyhound rescue, by offering a series of limited edition prints for sale. The prints are black and white, and are quite spectacular. They also offer a personalised portrait service. Greyhound Gang is based in Utah, USA, and run by Claudia. A brilliant site with lots of information on all aspects of greyhound ownership. They also sell excellent supplements that are very reasonably priced, and host weekly auctions selling lots unusual and rare greyhound themed items. Greyhound Magnets sell, well, greyhound magnets. They come in a range of colours and are designed to be attached to your car. I have had sets on both my vans, and think they are a cheap and effective way of decorating your vehicle that can later be removed if necessary. Click here to see a picture of my van complete with magnets. The site now also sells some very reasonably priced decals, and Mike is prompt at replying to questions, and will ship abroad at cost. Greyhound Pals are stuffed greyhounds that are made to order to resemble your own dog. Wings and halos can be added for greyhound angels, and even specific collar trims to match that of your real life greyhound. Very clever. Hammocks. This site has nothing at all to do with greyhounds, but they do sell the most amazing hammocks. I recently bought one and can't believe I waited 31 years to experience the true bliss that is wasting a day snoozing in a hammock. If you want to be as laid back as your greyhound, buy a hammock. Heart Hug Bears are made by Sherry in America. She will make you a teddy bear out of any fabric you send, including your dogs coat or a special blanket. A really lovely way to remember a hound who is no longer with you. Houndtime sell greyhound clocks. They offer a selection of designs or alternatively will make you a clock from a photo of your own dog(s). A friend had one of these made for me using a picture of George, and I love it. An unusual and beautiful gift.
Over The Top sell covers for sofas, beds, and cars. Their products are well made, last for ages, have a non slip backing (which really does work) and can be made to measure to protect the interior of your vehicle from all of the mess that dog ownership seems to entail. The Golden Hound offers some lovely greyhound jewellery, including beautiful St Francis dog tags. They are happy to ship world-wide. The Greyhound Hut has a wide range of clothing designs that are just a little different to the norm. A nice place to shop for something more unusual. They will also take custom orders for children's clothing. The Greyhound Shopping Mall is an extensive list of suppliers of all things greyhound. If you are after a specific item or just fancy a browse then this is a good place to while away a couple of hours! The Photo Cave has an amazing selection of Greyhound photos, which you can either buy, or send for free as an e-card. It is worth popping in just for a look. The Rainbow Bridge Bracelet is a nice way to memorialise a hound you have lost. They can be breed specific, or just made with the dog's name. [top] Information contained herein is provided 'as is'.
